Rainy Weekend Sausage Sale!

Posted by Julia Smith on

Looks like we're in for some much needed rain this weekend which is great news for local farmers & ranchers. The snow pack is at 12% normal levels for this time of year which means we'll be in for some serious drought conditions (again) this summer. The more water we can store in the ground the better!

PechaKucha New Westminster

Posted by Bold Apps on

Our own Farmer Julia will be presenting at this fun evening of story telling on Saturday February 27th. Started in Tokyo in 2003 by Klein Dytham Architecture firm, PechaKucha Night began as a fun and unique night of local culture and entertainment. Ten presenters from a range of fields share their interesting projects, inspirations and passions. There's only one catch - presenters get 20 images, 20 seconds each, making for a 6 minute and 40 second shot of ideas and inspiration. Being Volume 10, we thought we'd ask back some of our favourite presenters from the past 9 PKNW events...
