May 21st - Season Kickoff Party

Come on down and help us celebrate the start of the 2016 season with a BBQ at the farm. We have 4 adorable little piglets back at the farm for the summer who will be happy to take your fruits & veggie peelings, stale bread, expired dairy and other non-meat food scraps off your hands. Of course the goats & chickens are always happy to have visitors and will be very happy to see you too!
Bring the whole family and make an afternoon of it. Enjoy lunch at the farm then go for a walk or a bike ride down at Foreshore Park... or just hang out at the farm. We'll have activities for the kids and a nice selection of veggies and flowers ready for planting in your garden.
There will be burgers on the grill by donation. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share and BYOB. The farm and farm stand are open from 10-4 as usual. We'll be serving food from 12-2.
Our head butcher Filipe will be working the grill and available to answer your meat cutting and cooking questions. Come on down and meet the rest of the team too... we have some new faces!
The farm is located at 4992 Byrne Road in Burnaby.... a 5 minute walk from the #116 bus stop.
